Short absences

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS

Junior 2 and 3:

To manage class sizes, make up classes are typically not offered for these levels.

All other squads:

In instances when swimmers are unable to attend for a short period, we recommend trying to attend extra classes upon returning.

Planned Absences

MINIMUM 2 WEEKS

If a swimmer is going to be absent from classes for a period of at least two consecutive weeks, an application can be made for fees to be adjusted. An administration and holding fee applies*.

What to do:

Complete and submit a Notice of Absence Form no later than 7 days prior to the period of absence.

Medical Absences

Minimum 2 weeks

If a swimmer is unable to attend classes for a period of at least two consecutive weeks for medical reasons, an application can be made to have the fees adjusted. An administration and holding fee applies*.

What to do:

Complete and submit a Notice of Absence Form together with a medical certificate which notes that the student is unable to swim due to their medical condition.
